Help Lila May and her Family

Meet three-year-old Lila May…

Adorable...

Precocious…

Loves any thing pink and sparkly...

Cancer patient.

Lila May was diagnosed with a childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma in September of 2012, just five weeks after her second birthday.  She has been fighting for her life ever since. Lila has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery to remove tumors, a stem-cell transplant, and most recently, a process called Immunotherapy. While she has responded well to the treatment, she is still not out of the woods!  As bills for this very expensive, specialized type of care continue to mount, we are raising money for her medical expenses and related care with a virtual 5K race (run, walk, crawl, or stay on the couch).  She can't run for her life right now, but we can!

What is a virtual race? A virtual race is an event where everyone sets their own course and runs their own race wherever they happen to be on the planet.  You sign up online, receive your race packet in the mail, and complete your race any time before September 15 (and upload your results by September 20).  You will be competing with people from all over the world who are racing for the same worthy cause.  Lila has shown us how to physically and mentally fight back.  What can we show her?
