- The order allows for brick-and-mortar dog groomers to open while following all of the requirements in the Health Officer Order, and also using and publicly posting APPENDIX B.
- Mobile dog groomers are still not allowed to operate for the moment.
- The intention is to phase in the re-opening slowly, so mobile groomers will be considered for the next batch of allowances.
- Mobile groomers were considered separately since they are more difficult to monitor in terms of their practices, while brock-and-mortar groomers can be inspected spontaneously by inspectors who will be out in the community monitoring the situation.
Car Washes
- Drive thru car washes (with no customer contact and/or attached to gas stations) remain open.
