A 55-year-old man who suffered multiple wounds in a shooting in Pomona was hospitalized today. The shooting happened in the 500 block of North Currier Street around 8:30 p.m. Monday, said Pomona police Cpl. Mark Medellin. Officers responded to a call of a victim down and found Conrad Jimenez of Pomona in the street suffering from several gunshot wounds to his lower extremities, Medellin said. He was treated at the scene and then taken by helicopter to County-USC Medical Center for further treatment, a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher said.   Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to contact Pomona police detectives at (909) 620-2085. Anonymous tips can be made by calling (800) 222-TIPS.
