The City of Claremont is asking the community to take measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, including maintaining physical distancing, wearing a mask when out in public, washing hands frequently, and limiting gatherings to household members. The City also encourages residents to support our local restaurant community by taking advantage of the take-out, delivery and drive-through opportunities that are still available.
The City is working with surrounding communities to request that the LA County Department of Public Health consider local COVID-19 case numbers in making determinations for restrictions, to potentially allow businesses in cities such as Claremont, with relatively low COVID-19 incidences, to continue to operate.
