CLAREMONT, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County remained unchanged Tuesday at $3.075.

The average price had increased 16 of the previous 17 days, and is now 1.2 cents higher than one week ago, 4.6 cents higher than one month ago and 23.8 cents more than one year ago.

In Claremont, find gasoline under $3 per gallon at the ARCO on East Foothill Boulevard and North Claremont.

Glendora remains one of the cheapest cities to purchase gasoline in San Gabriel Valley. You can still find gas at under $3 per gallon as of Tuesday, May 30 at Sam's Club, ARCO stations, 76 stations and Valero.

Orange County increased one-tenth of a cent Tuesday to $3.062 according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It is nine-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 4.5 cents higher than one month ago and 24.9 cents more than one year ago.
