Police: Man Murdered in Pomona Street Fight
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, according to police.
A fight on a Pomona street left a 39-year-old man dead, and a 46-year-old man was jailed for suspicion of murder, authorities said..
Callers to 911 reported a fight at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of West Monterey Avenue, about two blocks southwest of Holt and Garey avenues.
Arriving police found a man unconscious on the sidewalk, and the other man a short distance away.

Vincent Lewis Clardy was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he died.
Homicide detectives said they would recommend murder charges against the other man, Andre Lemont. They asked the public's help in determining a motive.
