Police today were investigating the shooting of a woman in her 50s who took a bullet to a leg in the driveway of her Pomona home. The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of South White Avenue, near Grand Avenue, said Pomona police Lt. Chuck Becker. The woman, who was in her driveway when she was shot, was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center with a non-life-threatening wound, he said. She was not cooperating with investigators and no suspect information was available, Becker said.
