Possible Homicide in Elderly San Dimas Fatal Fall?

Homicide detectives were called in when the man succumbed to his injuries from a fall suffered on March 30 at his home.

SAN DIMAS, CA - A man who sustained a head injury in a fall at his home in San Dimas died at a hospital Monday.

Deputies from the sheriff's San Dimas Station were called at 10:47 p.m. on March 30 to the 100 block of Crystal Springs Road. The man was taken to a hospital and died at 9:40 a.m. Monday.

Homicide detectives were called Moday to investigate when the man died, said Lt. Thomas Reid of the San Dimas Station.

Sheriff's detectives will investigate the case, along with the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.

Reid said he did not know the man's age, but called him elderly.
