Rancho Cucamonga Teens Giving Back Through TRAC

Teen Recreation Activity Club offers opportunity for teens to meet high school community service requirements and give back to the community

The Rancho Cucamonga Teen Recreation Activity Club (TRAC) program, offers teenagers in grades 5 to 12 the opportunity to explore their potential through leadership and service.

TRAC members meet with City staff on the third Tuesday of every month, 5:00 - 6:00 pm, to discuss volunteer needs for upcoming City events. TRAC teens participate in special events like Memorial Day, Fourth of July Spectacular and our annual Founder's Parade and volunteer in programs like Camp Cucamonga, park cleanups and at food banks. These volunteer efforts help them develop important leadership, social and communication skills. Last summer TRAC volunteers contributed over 2,000 hours of service to the Rancho Cucamonga community.

The program does require a special commitment, however, the rewards of serving the community, meeting high school volunteer hour requirements, and gaining valuable experience are worth the effort. As a special thank you, TRAC offers its members fun rewards, trips and other teem programs offered by the Community Services Department.
