Recycling Center At Claremont City Yard

As the holidays approach, many residents may have more cardboard and recyclables to discard.

As the holidays approach, many residents may have more cardboard and recyclables to discard. The City offers a drop-off recycling center at the City Yard, Friday through Sunday. The center is located on the south side of the administrative building, located at 1616 Monte Vista Avenue. Claremont residents are encouraged to utilize the center as a drop-off location for the following recyclable items:

Flattened cardboard

Paper products

Plastic jugs, bottles, and jars

Glass bottles and jars

Metal Cans (soup cans, beverage cans, etc.)

Due to COVID-19 and for the safety of sanitation staff, please ensure that all materials are placed neatly in the bins. All recyclable items must be clean and dry, with no food residue. Please note that trash, bulky items, electronic waste, and hazardous waste are not accepted.
