The holiday season ended with a bang for patrons of the Senior Emergency Meal Program last week. Participants were treated to a special bottle of (non-alcoholic!) champagne-flavored jelly beans to ring in the New Year, courtesy of the Office of Supervisor Hila Solis, and a cherry tart with whipped cream on top, sponsored by The Claremont Colleges. We want to send our deepest gratitude to the community for stepping up their support of our older adults during the holidays of this particularly challenging year.
