Three Claremont Swimmers To Compete in Olympic Trials
Noelle Tarazona, 19, Sonia Wang, 15, and Michael Haney, 17, are headed to Omaha, NE, to compete for a spot in the London 2012 Summer Games.

Only the greatest athletes in the world will have the opportunity to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games in London this summer, and three of those atheletes might be local teenagers.
Noelle Tarazona, 19, Sonia Wang, 15, and Michael Haney, 17, who all are part of The Claremont Club swim team, will travel to Omaha, NE, from June 25 to July 2 to swim in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, according to The Claremont Courier.
TCC head coach John Ries told The Courier that only one half of one percent of all swimmers reach qualifying speeds in their events that will send them to the trials.
