A truck carrying hot tar overturned on the southbound Chino Valley (71) Freeway today, prompting the closure of freeway lanes.

The dump truck flipped over near Old Pomona Road around 4:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Pomona Police Department said no serious injuries had been reported.
