Approximately 5:50 PM today, a 911 caller stated that a Metrolink train hit a pedestrian on Beech Ave., south of Arrow Route in Fontana. The investigation was in the early stages, but CHP did confirm it was a pedestrian that was struck.
The Metrolink train can be seen approximately 500 yards west of Beech Ave. No details have been released on the accident and CHP is handling the investigation.
