The third night of searching has not produced any clue that the 11 year old autistic boy, known as Ju Ju, has been anywhere around. Team leader Bill Gillette said they have had about 500 searchers everyday. " People have reported seeing rattlesnakes, one coyote, lots of dense brush and a mine going back into the hill" All the areas are searched to see if they can find foot impressions, matted down brush, fresh dirt, water bottles and clothing. At the same time they are listening for any noises the boy might be making. The volunteers don't search at night, but many of them stay at the command post to study maps. Bill has formed teams of just two people or sometimes ten or more per team. "The police have been awsome to us". They make us feel like we are contributing and wanted. They don't restrict us in our searches, "then again, we don't search with the police for the most part". They use 4x4's, motorcycles and good old footwork to search in the above 100 degree heat. "Too much time has gone by" a searcher sighs. He knows the danger the autistic boy faces is doubled without his medication.
