Wilderness Park Theft Ends In Dual Arrest, Cops Say
Claremont & La Verne police officers worked jointly in the arrest of 2 suspected of swiping & using credit cards across San Gabriel Valley.

CLAREMONT, CA — A Wilderness Park parking lot theft ended with a dual arrest on Thursday. At just after 6:15 a.m. Monday morning, a victim reported his wallet, credit cards and cash stolen.
Those same credit cards were used later that day at businesses in surrounding cities according to Claremont police.
A female suspect was identified and her vehicle was entered as a wanted vehicle with local law enforcement.

"On Thursday, August 10, at just after 9 a.m., a second auto burglary occurred at La Puerta Sports Park, in Claremont," Claremont Police Department Detective Lieutenant Mike Ciszek said.
The suspects purchased merchandise using the stolen credit cards in the City of La Verne according to Ciszek.

"The La Verne Police Department assisting Claremont Police Department located and stopped the vehicle in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Towne Center," Ciszek said. "Claremont Police responded to the location and took the two suspects into custody and recovered the stolen property."
Chelsey Fisk and Henry Rios, both 25-years-old residents of Highland, were arrested and booked into the Claremont City Jail. Bail was set at $20,000 each and both are scheduled to appear in Pomona Superior Court on Monday, August 14, 2017.
