1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Brentwood Shooting: Contra Costa Sheriff

An investigation was continuing into the shooting in an unincorporated area of Brentwood, the sheriff's office said.

BRENTWOOD, CA — One person was killed and two people were injured Tuesday in a shooting in Brentwood, the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office said.

Late Tuesday, homicide detectives and crime scene personnel remained at the scene at a residence in the 10200 block of Brentwood Boulevard in unincorporated Brentwood, sheriff's Spokesperson Jimmy Lee said.

Deputies with the Delta Station responded around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday to reports of shots fired at the home, Lee said.

Two gunshot victims were in front of the residence and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Another person was found suffering gunshot wounds on the property; that person did not survive their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, Lee said.

"None of the subjects are being identified at this time," Lee said.

As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, sheriff's personnel remained on scene and the investigation was ongoing.
