$2.8M Lotto Ticket Snagged In Bay Area

VALLEJO, CA — 2021 is looking up for one lucky Mega Millions player in California. The winner bought a ticket worth $2,881,341 at a 7-Eleven in Vallejo last week, according to the CA Lottery.

The winner scored these five numbers:

• 24
• 25
• 25

They missed the mega number, 14, which would have made the ticket worth $82 million. The 7-Eleven where the magic ticket was purchased is located at 1208 Tennesee Street in Vallejo — just in case you were hoping lighting strikes twice.

Another lucky ticket holder in California won $19,662 for hitting four numbers, plus the mega number.
