2 Suspects Sought In Fatal Motel 6 Shooting In Concord: Police
Concord police said the two suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Police are asking anyone who knows their whereabouts to call 911.

CONCORD, CA — A man was fatally shot Friday night at Motel 6 in Concord, and police have identified two men as suspects in the homicide investigation. The shooting was reported at about 11:15 p.m. Friday at Motel 6, 3606 Clayton Road, police Sgt. Mark Robison said Saturday in a news release.
Officers responded to the motel and found a man, later identified as Daniel Schrader, suffering from gunshot wounds, the sergeant said. Emergency medical personnel transported Schrader to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he died.
Schrader, 36, was a transient in the area, according to Concord police Lt. Tamra Roberts.

Concord police have identified Adam Renfroe, 32, of Brentwood and Robert Brown, 40, of Bay Point as suspects in the killing of Schrader.

Renfroe and Brown remained at large Monday as the investigation continued, Roberts told Ptach.
Both have arrest warrants for murder, according to Concord police.
Investigators tracked Brown to a Bay Point home and Concord SWAT members served a search warrant Saturday afternoon at the home but neither suspect was located, according to Robison.
"Both Renfroe and Brown are considered armed and dangerous," Robison said. "If you see these suspects or know of their location, please do not approach them and immediately contact your local police department or call 911."
The case was still in the preliminary stages Saturday afternoon, therefore police were not releasing further information.
