Shooting Inside East Bay Bar Injures 4, Police Say

Gunshots were reported shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday at Dave & Buster's on Diamond Boulevard, police said.

CONCORD, CA — Four people were injured in a shooting Sunday night in a Concord sports bar, police said.

Gunshots were reported at 10:53 p.m. Sunday inside Dave & Buster's in the 2000 block of Diamond Boulevard, the Concord Police Department said in a statement.

Multiple officers converged on the establishment and found one male victim and one female victim suffering gunshot wounds.

Two additional male victims suffering from gunshots wounds drove to Sutter Delta Hospital in Antioch for treatment.

Police did not provide details on the condition of the shooting victims.

A preliminary investigation indicated an argument between two groups inside the bar led to the shooting, police said.

"No one outside the two groups was struck by gunfire," Concord police said.

Early Monday, the police department's Major Crimes Unit was continuing its investigation of the shooting.
