ALC and TOPS Walk for Autism Awareness

ALC and TOPS Walk for Autism Awareness, Autism Awareness Month, April, Contra Costa County, Concord

Come walk with us to support Autism Awareness!

The Adaptive Learning Center and the Transition Options Program (TOPS) through Mt. Diablo Adult Education are non-profit organizations that serve individuals with neuro-developmental learning disorders, Asperger’s and High Functioning Autism, more recently referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorders. Through extensive training and support, our clients establish self-reliance living as defined by the ability to engage in productive work, to socialize successfully, to attend to their own physical and emotional health, and to experience on-going personal growth.

On Saturday, April 25, 2015 our programs will partner together to host an autism walk in honor of Autism Awareness month. We will join forces with countless organizations throughout the country to raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased support services for individuals with autism.

Please come and join us at this wonderful event!
