CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Residents will have an opportunity to help shape the future of East Bay parks while enjoying a morning of family-friendly activities, food, and music at a community outreach event Saturday.
The East Bay Regional Park District is inviting residents to help guide its next District Plan through a series of public outreach events across the region, including one in Concord this weekend.
In partnership with the City of Concord, the Park District will host an outreach event during the Concord Senior Center's Parks and Community Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
The free event will feature food, live music, and activities for all ages while connecting visitors with Park District staff and local community organizations.
Attendees can learn about Park District programs, services, outdoor recreation opportunities, and career paths, while offering feedback that will help shape future priorities for the District Plan.
The East Bay Regional Park District said public input will help guide long-term planning for parks, trails, recreation programs, conservation efforts, and community services throughout the region.
