CONCORD, CA — Concord's Night Market is set to shake Todos Santos Plaza on Friday with a new festival and vibe.
Performers, dancers, musicians, and vendors will be on site at Todos Santos Plaza during the inaugural Cultural Festival from 5 to 9 p.m.
"We're gonna get down here," is the message from local musician and empresario Joe Yncio.
Yncio and the founder and chief executive of the Concord Night Market, Sunny Pannu, have been making the rounds to let people know about the big night.
The entertainment lineup includes Yncio himself, along with Daze Margarita, Uriel HB, Miss Nana, the a Tahitian Dancers, and Batuki performers.
The event is designed to give the night a new meaning, pairing a remembrance of the 9/11 attacks with a vibrant celebration of the city's cultures, Yncio said.
The music, children's activities, food and dessert vendors, and local artisans will round out the family- and pet-friendly evening.
