Tuesday and Thursday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to noon.

The upgrades included the installation of new high-efficiency heaters and retrofitting the pool’s circulation pump.

During times when the pool is in use, the pump will operate at required flow rates; when the pool is closed, the pump will operate at 80 percent, saving energy.

The retrofit includes a redundant pump and motor that will allow for maintenance to be done on an annual basis without having to shut down the pool.

The pool is located in Concord Community Park on Cowell Road between Hale Drive and St. Francis Drive. For more information, call the pool at (925) 671-3480.
