Armed Man On Bike Holds Up Auto Shop In Concord
Police are searching for the suspect in the Thursday crime.

Police are looking for a man who robbed an auto shop in Concord at gunpoint Thursday evening, police said today.
Officers responded at 5:41 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at Oil Changer, located at 796 Oak Grove Road, Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
Blakely said a man entered the auto shop and showed the store employee a handgun, demanding to know where the money and safe was. The employee, fearing for his life, opened the cash register and gave the man money, Blakely said.

The suspect then left the store and rode away on a bicycle.
Police searched for the suspect but could not locate him, according to Blakely. Police described the suspect as a black man, roughly 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 250 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask over the lower portion of his face, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black fanny pack, Blakely said. He was armed with a 1911-style handgun, Blakely said.
