Assistance League of Diablo Valley Receives $500 Donation from Real Estate Foundation

Since 1967, dedicated member volunteers of Assistance League® of Diablo Valley have improved the lives of those in our community who are vulnerable through its hands-on philanthropic programs. Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, a well-known landmark located in Lafayette, is the primary source that funds these programs. Additionally, and as pivotal, members of the business community have opened their hearts, as well as their wallets, to give financial and emotional support to those who face hardship through no fault of their own.

At the chapter’s May 27th Board of Directors meeting, Real Estate Foundation Representative Richard Fleming presented a check in the amount of $500, at the request of an anonymous donor, to Assistance League of Diablo Valley President Veronica Gant. While this generous donation will be most prudently allocated, its message of hope and encouragement adds to its monetary value.
