Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Schedules a "Fangtastic Halloooooween"

Horrified member volunteer Patty Smith warns, “You’ll barely get your foot in the door during Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop’s Halloween event!”  On Tuesday, September 30, when the raven caws ten times, a door located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, will creak open to a miasma of wigs, witches’ hats, masks, sashes, ties and poodle skirts.  Choices include pirates, princesses, firemen, chefs, belly dancers and dinosaurs (not too sure about phlebotomists.)  These items will virtually fly out the door.

You will also find decorative ceramic pumpkins and others made of glass and metal, as well as innumerable party goods.  Likewise, wall hangings and garlands enhanced with witches, spiders, skeletons and lights will help you capture that crypt-like ambience your friends will enjoy when then drop in for a bite.  Imagine a table scape that features a centerpiece graced with entwined cats, crows and bats surrounded by inviting platters heaped with lady fingers.
