BAY AREA, CA — BART riders saw delays this morning after an early-morning swarm of quakes hit the East Bay.

The quakes — a total of 19 — started at about 6:30 a.m. near San Ramon.

The agency shut down trains temporarily to inspect the system for damage.
Train schedules were returning back to normal at 8:15 a.m. after the safety checks finished but riders are still seeing slight delays.
