Beware of Highway 4 Closures this Week

Construction crews will be closing all eastbound lanes of state Highway 4 between Pittsburg and Antioch throughout this week, according to Caltrans.

The closure is scheduled until Friday morning, starting Tuesday from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, as part of Caltrans and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority's project to widen Highway 4 through the area.

Drivers should expect delays and look for detours near the closure between Loveridge and Somersville Roads.
