Beware: Scam Artist is Hawking 'Gold' Bars
He has struck several times in Alameda County, claiming to be raising money needed by a sick relative.
A scam artist has been working various places in Alameda County recently claiming to be raising money for a sick relative by selling gold bars for thousands of dollars.
Problem is: It's not real gold.
The perpetrator, wearing hospital scrubs, was captured on a security camera in a still released by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.
