Man Calls Concord PD, Says He Killed His Mother: Lieutenant
Officers arrested the deceased woman's 18-year-old son, a Concord police lieutenant said.
CONCORD, CA — An 18-year-old man is said to have called the Concord Police Department Wednesday night and told a dispatcher he just killed his mother. The call came in at 9 p.m. and the man said he killed his mom at their home in the 3000 block of Treat Boulevard, near the intersection of Treat Boulevard and Oak Grove Road, Concord police Lt. Sean Donnelly said.
"When officers arrived, the man was outside waiting for them," Donnelly said.
Officers went inside the home where they found his mother dead.

"The man was arrested and CPD detectives are currently investigating the case," Donnelly said.
The deceased woman's name was not being released until her next of kin were properly notified.

Police did not identify her son, nor did they say how she died.
