BREAKING: Police in Standoff at Arco Gas Station in Antioch

The California Highway Patrol is assisting Antioch police in a standoff at a gas station this afternoon, a CHP officer said. Police were still involved in the standoff at an Arco gas station at 2610 Contra Loma Blvd. as of about 1 p.m., CHP Officer John Fransen said.

Antioch police are in charge of the situation and Fransen deferred other questions to the Police Department. Antioch police were not immediately available for comment.
