Cinnaholic Opens Second Bay Area Location In Concord

Cinnaholic, of "Shark Tank" fame, was founded in 2009 in Berkeley as a vegan alternative to traditional cinnamon rolls.

CONCORD, CA — There is good news for East Bay residents with a sweet tooth. The second Bay Area location of Cinnaholic, a vegan bakery known for serving up innovative, gourmet cinnamon roll creations, opened Friday, June 21 at Todos Santos Plaza in Concord. The new location at 2008 Salvio St. in Concord joins its East Bay neighbor, the original Cinnaholic bakery which was founded in 2009 in Berkeley.

The renowned plant-based bakery franchise was founded with a commitment that all ingredients must be animal-free and free of dairy, lactose, eggs and cholesterol, according to company representatives. With its delicious alternative to the traditional cinnamon roll, Cinnaholic caters to those with or without dietary restrictions while maintaining a sweet and savory flavor.

In addition to garnering national attention on the ABC TV show "Shark Tank," the Cinnaholic brand was also recently featured on the Franchise 500® list put out by Entrepreneur magazine, company representatives said.
