Concord Construction Alert: Weekend Project Planned

CONCORD, CA — A road resurfacing project is scheduled Saturday and Sunday, July 16-17, from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Ellis Lake neighborhood in Concord, according to city officials.

The work is planned for Detroit Avenue between Clayton Road and Todd Avenue, and on Oakmead Drive between Detroit and Toyon Drive, the city said.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes on both days, if possible, as the one-way traffic could cause travel delays.

The city thanked motorists for their patience and reminded all to drive safely.
