Concord Killer At Large, Police Say
A 45-year-old man was shot and killed on a Concord street; police say the shooter and the gun have yet to be located.
CONCORD, CA — A man was fatally shot Wednesday on a Concord street and the killer remains at large, according to Concord police. Officers were dispatched just before 5 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of Robin Lane in the Four Corners / Monument Corridor area of the city.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a 45-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. Officers administered life-saving measures until paramedics arrived and took the victim to a local hospital where he died, Concord police said in a statement Thursday.
Investigators believe that just prior to the shooting, the victim and suspect were in a verbal altercation.
