Concord Man Arrested As Third Suspect In San Jose Murders

The Santa Clara County DA's Office charged the 20-year-old with two counts of murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

A third suspect in two September homicides in San Jose has been arrested, police said Friday.

Miguel Antonio Conejoas, 20, was arrested Jan. 14 in Concord and has been charged by the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office with two counts of murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Police responded Sept. 23 to a call of a man shot inside a residence in the 100 block of Rancho Drive and arrived on the scene, to discover two men had been shot and killed and a woman had been injured.

The two men, Brian Lang, 28, and his father Keith Lang, 61, both of San Jose, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The woman had not been shot and suffered from injuries that were not life threatening. Previously, police had arrested Availek Hepburn-Martin, 20, and Tearri Jaquille Richard, 20, both of Pittsburg, in connection with the murders.
