Concord Students Receive Local Scholarships
The scholarships were awarded by the Contra Costa County Office of Education.

The Contra Costa County Office of Education honored 37 high school students, representing 24 schools in Contra Costa and Alameda counties, with the Students of Excellence Awards for their outstanding achievement in their Career Technical Education/Regional Occupational Program classes.
Each student received a certificate of merit and a $150.00 scholarship award.

- Clayton Valley Charter High School: Tyler Vandal, PLTW Engineering and Design
- Concord High School: Mireya Gonzalez Avina, Accounting; Christopher Jenkins, Computer Applications
- Yagnacio Valley High School: Alejandra Cervantes, Careers in Teaching
