
On July 31st Concord tenants met to discuss the conditions of multifamily housing in the city and to also discuss what could be done about raising rents and how to sound the alarm over the increased infestation of bedbugs in the area.
Turn out to the informal meetup at Panama Red coffee house on Salvio street, listened to a presentation on basic tenants rights and participated in a workshop that plotted out next steps and priorities.
The group will continue to meet on a regular basis several service based non-profits in the city have offered their support.
The next meeting will be held on August, 27 at Monument Crisis Center located at 2350 Monument Blvd. The presentation starts promptly at 6:00 pm
