Concord's Red Lion Closes Abruptly
CC Times is reporting that hotel's employees were let go and guests were turned out.
The Red Lion Inn in Concord abruptly shut its doors Thursday, dismissing employees and turning out guests, the Contra Costa Times is reporting.
The hotel, which used to be a Holiday Inn, is run as a franchise under the Red Lion brand, the article said.
Red Lion executives at the company headquarters in Spokane said they had heard nothing of the franchise closing.
