Days Inn (Concord California)

This last July I visited Days Inn in Concord California. Now this upgraded quaint little hotel is snuggled off the curb and surround by palm trees to enhance the beauty of the property. If you even think about blinking you may miss this small but luxury style hotel that I would rate first class for someone on a short stay. Upon entering the hotel I was greeted by the ambiance of redwood furnishings with a library style sitting room for those who like that fireplace feel beauty. The lobby décor also included tons of plants and a dining area that also displayed redwood cabinetry, and had a 24hr free espresso/coffee bar. I was told by the concierge that in the morning that the hotel prepares a full breakfast (which they did). Once in my room (one which was still going through renovations) I noticed that the rooms where well put together and extremely clean (the house keepers did a well job). I believe the televisions where 32” or larger, but what really caught my eye was when I walked past the rooms that where being worked on and I noticed all the elaborate furnishings the manger/owner was investing into his hotel; large elaborate sinks, redwood cabinets, new beds, and bigger flat sceen televisions. What I would recommend to this hotel owner is this “Keep investing in your property, so your property will stay top notch”.
