Death Of Man On Sanford Street in Concord Being Investigated as Possible Homicide

The man's body was discovered in his home Monday by a caretaker, police said.

A suspicious death reported Monday in Concord is now being investigated as a homicide, according to the Concord Police Department.

Police were called at 1:15 p.m. to a residence on the 3400 block of Sanford Street where a deceased man was discovered inside the home by a caretaker, police said.

The nature of the man’s death appeared suspicious, according to police, and detectives have taken over the investigation as a possible homicide.

At this time, the victim’s name is being withheld pending the notification of family.
