Do you have your hometown memory?

My hometown was in Korea. It had a small brook where I and my friends went to play in water. We used to catch tiny size fish. We also ran in the field of wild flowers and collected nuts in a mountain. We had fun. We were happy.
I want to give such fun and happy memory to our children. Where can they play safely with other friends?
We open our church, Concord UMC, on Wednesdays. From 2 to 6 pm, children from nearby elementary, junior high, and senior high schools come and have free snacks, homework times, free tutors, games, and extra curricular activities like sports and music. Last year we had about 25 children weekly.
John Muir hospital provides healthy snacks for the children because they concern about child obesity. We are blessed to work with local hospitals for the children.
Why do we do this? We want to give them hometown memory. When they grow older they would remember their youthful times. We pray that they should say, "Oh, I remember Concord UMC! It was like my home! We had fun at that time with many friends!" May God bless our children with safe place to play and have fun with friends!
