Fight Breaks Out At Concord Restaurant, 3 Arrested: Police
Police responded to reports of a fight involving several patrons; when officers arrived, a large crowd was gathered outside the restaurant.

CONCORD, CA — Two teen-aged girls were arrested Thursday night after allegedly getting into a fight with each other inside an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant, officials with the Concord Police Department said. When officers responded at 8:31 p.m. to reports of a fight involving several patrons at Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in the 2000 block of Diamond Boulevard, a large crowd was gathered outside of the restaurant, according to police.
Concord police Lt. Sam Staten said officers' preliminary investigation revealed the two young women, ages 19 and 16, were both from Antioch. They knew each other and got into a physical fight inside the restaurant, the lieutenant said.
"The fight ended prior to police arrival," Staten said. "Officers questioned several people including the involved parties. They determined that the fight was due to conflict that had occurred in the past between the two involved females."
