A Fun-Seeker's Solution to Reducing Plastic Pollution in your Community
Operation Green Fun Campaign aims to send out 1,000 cases of our unique stack-able cups to 1,000 of your favorite businesses in the US!
Operation Green Fun announces unique crowdfunding concept to aggregate the buying power of the consuming public to create unprecedented demand for previously unknown environmentally friendly AND fun products. It’s first campaign allows bar and restaurant customers to create market demand for an alternative to the commonly used disposable plastic beverage cup that often ends up polluting land and sea.
Funders of this inaugural Operation Green Fun campaign will purchase 100% recyclable and reusable cups with handles that stack, so it’s easy to carry multiple drinks at a time. When the minimum funding goal is met, Operation Green Fun will ask its funders to vote on which bar, restaurant, or other venue they want to receive these pre-purchased cups. The businesses with the most votes will then receive them. This allows patrons of bars, restaurants, and others venues to encourage their friends to get involved, but business owners wanting to receive the complimentary cups are encouraged to tell their customers about the campaign too. Operation Green Fun hopes to send out at least 1,000 cases to 1,000 different businesses.
“Nobody likes to be a pioneer in business,” said Operation Green Fun Co-Founder, Michael Munson. “What business owner wants to spend upwards of $500 to stock a new cup that is unproven and unknown, when the existing cheap disposable ones are working just fine?”

Operation Green Fun is premised on the fact it has proven difficult to change environmentally destructive practices simply by illustrating how harmful this behavior or that behavior is. Nobody likes being told what to do, and the reality is changing our behavior generally costs more at least initially.
Markets must be moved to make a real impact. This requires additional value be delivered from more eco-friendly choices, beyond simply eliminating guilt. “We believe in providing choices to small businesses and we feel the American people can help drive those choices. Operation Green Fun builds awareness for the more environmentally fun and friendly choice so it exists as a viable option. A lot of people doing a little bit to influence the market will significantly reduce plastic waste and have a monumental impact on our planet,” noted Operation Green Fun Co-Founder, Dave Mullins.
