Hit-And-Run Driver Leaves Motorcyclist Injured In Concord
The motorist was spotted and arrested in Walnut Creek.

Police arrested a driver who allegedly crashed into a motorcycle in Concord and then left the scene Wednesday night, police said today.
Police said officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision in the area of Ygnacio Valley and Cowell roads in Concord around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist with injuries that were serious but not considered life-threatening, police said.

Walnut Creek police spotted the driver roughly 20 minutes later about 5 miles away from the scene, detained him and transferred him to Concord police, who arrested him on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
The man’s name was not immediately available. Police said the cause of the collision is still being investigated.
