Idina Menzel, Voice of Elsa the Snow Queen, Coming to Concord Pavilion

General public tickets on sale now. Specials for Concord residents will be in April due to box office's construction.

From the City of Concord:

Broadway star and recording artist Idina Menzel, the voice of Elsa the Snow Queen in the Disney film Frozen, is coming to the Concord Pavilion on August 7, 2015.

Menzel sang the Academy Award-winning song “Let It Go” in the film. In 2004, Menzel received a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked.

Tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday, through livenation.com or ticketmaster.com.

Concord residents would ordinarily be able to purchase presale tickets at the Pavilion box office the day before they go on sale to the general public. Unfortunately, the box office is closed due to construction.

As an alternative, the Pavilion will hold a limited number of tickets to this concert in each price range for Concord residents. These tickets will go on sale at the Pavilion Box Office on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tickets to the Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga show that have been set aside for Concord residents will also be on sale at that time.

The presale ticket program is one of the benefits for Concord residents included in the new contract between Live Nation and the City of Concord.

To participate, residents must bring a utility bill and driver’s license (or other government-issued ID) with matching addresses to the box office, located at the entrance to the facility at 2000 Kirker Pass Road. The resident hotline number is (925) 363-5701.
