CONCORD, CA — Check out this photo shared by Patch reader Keith Hennessy of a sunset earlier this month over Concord Lime Ridge.

According to the city of Walnut Creek, which manages the 1,226-acre open space preserve in Walnut Creek and Concord, Lime Ridge gets its name from the limestone in the area that was quarried by the Cowell Portland Cement Company.

Thanks so much for sharing this gorgeous shot, Kevin!
