Two days of fun, food, music and games for kids of all ages are underway at this year’s 34th Walnut Creek Chamber Art & Wine Festival.
Now in its third decade, the popular East Bay event offers special treats for generation-spanning families from toddlers to grandparents.

When: Saturday, May 30, until 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 31, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Heather Farm Park at 301 N. San Carlos Drive, Walnut Creek
This year’s NEW Children’s Area offers:
· All Aboard! – scenic train rides around the lake at Heather Farm Park on a new, electric train
· Water Bobbles – kids step inside a giant inflated ball and try to walk on water
· Climbing Wall – 25’ climbing wall with automatic belay system, making it safe as well as fun
· The Aquarium – new, super-sized Nemo-themed inflatable play space with slide, bouncing area and inflated sea creatures to play and climb on
· Wee Ones Inflatable – especially created for the 5-year-old and under crowd
The Festival also includes hundreds of one-of-a-kind arts and crafts booths, a premium wine tent and craft beer garden for the adults, and food booths offering yummy summertime treats. Live entertainment features Bay Area favorites on two music stages for family dance-a-thons.
Getting to the Festival: Bay Area residents who ride BART to this year’s Festival will have a free shuttle service from the Walnut Creek BART station to and from the event at Heather Park Farm. Shuttles run regularly from 10 a.m. to one hour past closing time each day. On-site parking fee; free parking and shuttles from Shadelands throughout the Festival. Complimentary valet bike parking.
