​Man In Critical Condition After Shooting In Antioch​: Police

Officers discovered a 23-year-old man inside Sycamore Square suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

ANTIOCH, CA — A man is in critical condition following a Sunday shooting in Antioch, according to police.

Just before 3 p.m., officers responded to shots fired around Sycamore Drive and Peppertree Way. Upon arrival, police saw evidence of a shooting in the roadway between Peppertree and Lemontree ways.

Officers discovered a 23-year-old man inside Sycamore Square suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical but stable condition Sunday night.
