Missing Contra Costa Girl Found in SF
The Richmond teen was missing since New Year's Day.

A Richmond teenager missing since New Year’s Day and possibly held against her will has been found, a spokeswoman for the Richmond Police Department said this morning.
Spokeswoman Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said 16-year-old Belinda Jean Carson was found about 11 p.m. Monday in San Francisco and is currently with detectives of the Richmond Police Department.

Abetkov said no more information is being released at this time.
The young woman had no history of being a runaway and Richmond police Lt. Joey Schlemmer said she may have been with a man who was “refusing to allow her to” go home.
